For the past 40 years, Paul has played the role of student, tutor, coach, teacher, and legal advocate throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. Paul has practiced family law exclusively since 1999.
During the first decade of his career, Paul served as an Assistant Family Law Facilitator.

in the Sonoma County and San Francisco County family courts during which time he assisted more than 20,000 self-represented litigants with divorce, paternity determinations, child custody, child support, spousal support, property allocation, and domestic violence.

  • passed the California Bar on his first attempt.

Education and Qualifications:

Paul earned a B.A. in Liberal Studies from Sonoma State University

M.A. in English Composition Theory from San Francisco State University.

Paul received an American Jurisprudence award in Legal Writing and Research

Published a law review note, served as a law review associate editor.

Mr.Paul P. Dumont is the “Lead Counsel” designated in Real Property Law and was selected as a “Rising Star” for 2020, 2021, and 2022.

  • Paul has practiced family law exclusively since 1999.

  • For the past 14 years, Paul has assisted hundreds of private clients resolve family law matters, primarily as a solo practitioner.
  • The sport and even coached boys gymnastics at California Sports Center in San Jose, CA from 2013-2016.
